INHABIT FILM
Inhabit provides an insight into New Zealand artists and residents producing work from different parts of the country, where they call home. Inhabit explores the collaboration between the artist and the land, whether that be through adding to or extracting from the landscape, the end outcome is going to be an amalgamation of both parties, you can’t have one ingredient without the other. The project examines to what extent the artists are tied to where they inhabit, while also focussing on the creative process of each person and their own individualised methods of forming their work. In addition, recounting personal stories that have shaped who they are and the way they approach their work, describing the evolution of events that led them to where they are now and where they see themselves going.
